Meet the experienced and friendly doctor who makes Northwest Optometry Associates a proud provider of vision care products and services in Fresno.

Isaiah J. Fuson, O.D.

Before beginning his career in optometry, Dr. Isaiah Fuson proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. His time in the Marines helped shape his character, values, and commitment to serving others-qualities he continues to bring into every patient interaction today.

Following his military service, Dr. Fuson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fresno State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and continued on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. After completing his education, he cared for patients at the VA Medical Center of Southern Oregon and the Naval Hospital in San Diego. He feels grateful for the opportunity he had to serve active-duty service members, veterans, and their families during this time.

Dr. Fuson is passionate about helping people see-and feel-their best. He enjoys all aspects of primary eye care and has a special interest in diagnosing and managing ocular disease and dry eye disorders. He also loves working with contact lens wearers and has experience fitting a wide range of lenses, including specialty options like scleral lenses. His goal is always to make patients feel comfortable, understood, and well cared for.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Fuson loves spending quality time with his wonderful wife, Brooklynn, and their three amazing young children-Virginia, Jack, and Dean. God and family play a central role in his life, and he brings that same warmth, care, and attentiveness to the patients he serves every day. He feels truly honored to serve the Fresno and Clovis communities and is grateful for the trust families place in him for their eye care.
