Meet the experienced and friendly doctor who makes Northwest Optometry Associates a proud provider of vision care products and services in Fresno.
Amanda R. Schmidt, O.D.
Dr. Amanda R. Schmidt graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 1995.
Dr. Schmidt practiced in the Bay Area from 1995 to 1997. She returned to Fresno in 1997 and has been serving the community ever since.
In her practice, Dr. Schmidt emphasizes primary eye care including the examination and treatment of ocular disease.
She is married to Robert Swanbeck, a local stockbroker, and they have three children.
